The blue is painted on. The Faskolor paint dries in about 2 minutes so I just have a jar for the airbrush set up with some water in it and blow some water through it and not bother emptying and cleaning the paint bottle until I get the 2nd and final coat on the job. 2 coats is usually enough with this paint.
