Extending another 4 feet

added 4' of plywood to the length this morning. At 1st I just threw the sections
of track right on the track like it was.
After my son Joe and I ran it a while I got thinking that I needed to slow the cars down before that corner and my original plan was to move the turns in the foreground of the above picture up to the entrance of the turn. I didn't think they'd fit until I went about 6'. Well I measured it and it just fit!
With
it like that it gives the track 2 nice straights. The straight where the retaining
walls are is where the pits will be so the cars can accelerate a bit coming out.
Basically this end of the track is done except for another 2 pieces of straight
figure the Pit Lane and 1 lane change are 4 pieces so I'll take 2 out and put
another 32" of plywood in. Hell who knows...I may just leave it all and go
all the way to the back wall!
