32 more inches...
Put another light down the far end. Going to put 2 more lengths of track on each side this weekend. I'm going to take that terminal out of there because when drivers stand there it obstructs the view of the "S" turn from the driver at the other end of the table. I'll put 2 regular long straights there and move the terminal down between the "S" turn and the big turn. I hope the new Safety Fence I ordered comes in soon because it's going where the turn before the "S" is. I'm going to screw a 8" tall plywood wall there and on the outside of the big turn. I also did a test fit for the 2nd mountainside piece. I've added more plaster cloth to it to bring the height up on the left side.
It's
about to grow another 32". That will be as far as I'm going to go with it.
Any farther and it would take major rearranging of the stuff that's in the cellar
and there's really no more room to move it except out! I'm going to start landscaping
the inside of that turn this weekend too.
Well
I added some more wood and got it done.
The
last picture I set the timer and stretched as far as I could down towards the
end of the track trying to get the length. I've got stuff in the way where I'm
doing the "Off track" scenery stuff so I can't get to that end right
now.
