Getting Serious
I guess it's time to start covering up all the benchwork with Woodland Scenics Ready Grass Mat and doing some of the scenery since I don't have anymore room for track.
The crowds have started to gather in the Grandstands. The new DS200 Electronic Lap Counter/Timer Start/Finish Line is in place.

I'm adding new buildings. Both the old and new style Scalextric Control Towers. The small building on the infield is an old Scalextric pit building, but I'm going to turn it into a concession stand. I'll be printing up a lot more signage for the "Safety Walls". I also have a Carrera Mobil One Tower and another old style Scalex Grandstand on their way.

Down on the far right coming out of the banked turn is going to be a Pine tree forest. I already have a ton of pine trees, I just have to wait a couple days for another package of Ninco "stone wall" sections to come in.The stone wall will go from the banked turn to the grandstands(can't have the cars flying into the trees). I'll be smoothing out the banked turns and the straightaways too.

I tell you, running this 230' single lane track against the clock is awesome. Got it down to 19.17 seconds so far with a beatup Scalex Ferrari 330 P4. Now I have 3 new ones(1 #23 and 2 of the new #11s) on their way and I have some nasty Fly and Slot It cars I should start tuning to handle because they dam sure have the speed! Hell the SCX NASCARs do too, especially that Goodwrench car I put the Turbo Plus motor in
