A layout I bought
LATEST
NEWS !! I was just talking with John on the Phone,
I guess since I put this on the forums some LOWLIFE has tried to "Out Bid"
Me even though the deal was final and John said the stuff was "Sold".
Thankfully John is an HONORABLE man, Unlike this other (You know, I'm not even
going to use the harse words I feel because I don't believe he deserves them!!!)
HEY THANKS BUDDY!!! WHOEVER YOU ARE!!!!
John in Texas boxed up his layout
and put it in a closet back in 2002. He decided to sell it and put it in the Slot
Car Illustrated forum. He was asking $400 and wanted it to be picked up there.
I offered more if he would ship it. We agreed on $475 shipped to Massachusetts.
He's happy it will have a good home, and it will. I'll use the scenery stuff for
now but when we move I'll use every bit of the track. He was telling me he also
has a couple TV cameras with the cameramen which I haven't been able to find anywhere.
From the pictures it looks like there might be some R3& R4 sections. The layout
was 20' x 5'. Here are the pictures John had of the track and all the cars. I've
never seen a tower like this Dunlop Tower.
On the bottom of the page are some
cars I bought from guys in the forum and a USMC Color Guard I found on EBAY but
they are available at
Heart
of America Toys too.
I almost forgot...I bought some nice Palm Trees too...
