Filling it in
The last part of the layout
needs to be done now.
I
crumpled up some paper and covered it with a plastic bag then covered it with
strips of Woodland Scenics plaster cloth. I covered the crumpled paper with the
plastic so I could remove it without it sticking to to plaster cloth.
Here
it is separate from the paper and plastic and put back in place. I can trim up
the bottom of it later with a pair of junk scissors. I used
my Woodland Scenics heat gun to accelerate the drying.
I
"Painted" on the green "Earth Color" base coat. Tomorrow I'm
applying the ground cover "Turf" is what they call it now....
Just
have to wait for the buildings and palm trees now.
I'm going to mount the
DS200 display to "L" brackets on the benchwork.

The DS200 is done now too. Finished until those 5 boxes get here!!!!
OK, Not quite Finished!! The Palm Trees from Pete came in today along with
the 3 Fly Corvettes and the MRRC Toyota. I decided to put the trees in place now.
Oh YES!! My Corgi USMC Color Guard came in too. I figured I'd just put them in
the picture too.....
I
didn't care for the terminal track showing in the pictures so I put my homemade
Concession Stand in it too!
