1930 Ford Model "A" Pick Up Conversion
It
started out as a 1/32 Lindberg model. I took the chassis from a Jaida F1 car and
modified it to fit within the model body/chassis

I
Dremeled out the chassis after I had the body Krazy glued on. I glued the body
1st to keep the chassis ridged while/after I cut the chassis. I used Krazy Glue
Liquid and Gel on the whole build. I had to glue in some scrap pieces of styrene
to lift the back for the rear wheels to have fender clearance. I also had to put
in thicker pieces to screw to.

I
shortened the Jaida F1 chassis considerably. I also had to cut those SCX style
copper electrical strips. I had to add a piece of tube styrene for the front axle.

I
used a Ninco Pro Race Pick Up. Also had to use 2 pieces of flat styrene stock
to connect the 2 sections of chassis.

I painted the white styrene pieces on the chassis so it wouldn't look like crap. LOL, I guess I should paint the rest of the undercarriage too.....

I
have these waiting for conversion too.....

I'm
ordering some masks too
