1st Repaint Job

I
had to repaint my 1st car. Bought a Mosler last night that I already had and I
just can't have 2 the same. I had a hard time deciding what color/colors to go
with so I primed it with Flat White. I had to fashion a holder too.
I
decided I was going to go with Black and White until I saw one of tose Copper
colored cars on my way to the store to buy the paint! I got the Copper color and
tried in on an old model I hadn't started to see how it looked. It was OK but
needed a Silver base coat. I went back out and grabbed a can of silver.The final
result is 5 light coats of the Copper color. It darkened up very nicely. I'm going
to have to look for some decals for it now. I have plentythat I bought for my
1/18th RC trucks that'll fit.

These
2 NASCAR Stockers were equipped with the Carrera Digital Chips that won't run
on my Ninco track. They won't run with N-Digital when I get that either so the
Digital Chips had to come out. I sold them for $10 each. A good deal for both
of us. He gets to convert 2 of his older cars for 10 bucks
each and I get 2 new cars to convert to Ninco Digital later for $35
