Spray Bars

I figure as long as the powerheads are pumping out water, why not run them into spray bars? They are easy and inexpensive to make and keep the whole surface moving.

These are from my livebearer 75 gallon.
Notice you can't even see the powerhead from the front of the tank.

 

This was my 1st one. It was on the 100 Gallon Reef Tank.

The Powerhead for this one is buried in the rocks.
You can see this spray bar if you get down low and look up into the tank.

The 100 gallon tank has grown into a 125. Instead of an 802 powerhead running the bar, my 1590 GPH return pump runs it now. Of course I can't use the full abilities of that pump because it would shoot the water over the front of the tank :-)
